Breakfast Club
At Whitehill, we offer good quality before-school childcare in the breakfast club. We provide a nutritious and healthy breakfast which will prepare your children for their school day. Our programme of activities is varied and challenging, making sure that all play opportunities are offered at every session. We follow a structured routine to accommodate the environment it is in and the needs of the children. Each child can choose freely what they want to do and are invited to join in activities, including board games and arts & crafts, which at all times adhere to both equal opportunities and health and safety.
Timings
Breakfast Club is open every weekday during term time, excluding Staff Development Days, from 07:30 to 08:55. Your children can be dropped off at any time between these times and the Breakfast Club staff will then take them to their classroom at the end of the session. Drop off is via the Sunshine Lodge gate, in School Road. If your child wishes to have breakfast at the club, they must be in school by 08:00. Parents/Carers are responsible for signing their children into Breakfast Club each time they attend.
Pricing
Breakfast Club has a fixed daily cost of £4.00 per day, which includes a breakfast of cereals, toast with toppings, fruit and a selection of fruit juices and milk. The cost does not change depending on the time your children arrive.

School’s Out After School Club
After School Club at Whitehill aims to provide a friendly, safe environment for children, with a wide range of activities both inside and outside depending on the weather. Children will also be given support with their reading, as well as support with homework through fun and engaging games and puzzles.
At the After School Club, we provide a friendly, safe environment for the children to have fun with various activities of the children’s choice. We aim to ensure every child’s needs are met from finishing their school day right up to being collected by their parent or carer within the safe and familiar surroundings of their own school and without the need to be transported elsewhere. We also have further extra-curricular activities available.
Snacks will be served on arrival. Children can choose from homemade cookies, crackers, fruit, soft drinks and water.
Timings and Pricing
After School Club at Whitehill runs every weekday during term time, excluding Staff Development Days, from 15:30 to 18:00. Children will be taken by staff from their classrooms to the Club at the end of the school day. With your prearrangement and consent, older children can take themselves there directly. Children can be collected from the After School Club via the main office entrance.
