Whitehill Brings Stories to Life for World Book Day

Whitehill Brings Stories to Life for World Book Day

This Thursday, Whitehill was buzzing with excitement as we celebrated World Book Day! The school was transformed into a world of colourful and imaginative costumes, as staff and children alike dressed up as their favourite book characters. It truly felt like we had stepped right into the pages of a storybook.

Throughout the day, there were lively debates about what makes a good story and why children chose the characters they did. It was wonderful to see pupils so engaged in discussions about books and storytelling, sparking curiosity and creativity across the school.

We are certain that today created many fond memories for our students, and we want to extend a big thank you to all parents and carers for supporting the children with their costumes and helping make the day extra special.
